Hello! I’m Lyndsey!
I live on the border of County Sligo/Mayo in the West of Ireland and I really did meet my husband when I was on a hen weekend (the inspiration for my debut novel ‘The Seven Year Itch’).
Fast forward seven years, we built a house overlooking the sea- it’s very quiet, no neighbours at all, a big change from the city but I actually love it more than I thought possible. Its peaceful. And the perfect creative corner I need to write romance.
I am a Wife, Mammy and Dental Hygienist by day, and I love to write at any given opportunity. I’m an avid reader and an unashamed romantic, forever in search of the next Happily Ever After!

Seeing the finished product, holding it in your hands and knowing it came entirely from you. The other wonderful thing is when someone tells you they loved your book- its the best feeling in the world!
I try to fall asleep at night but these ideas just keep popping in to my head! I just have to write them down.
I don’t get writers block- but if I need a break I take the night off and have a glass of wine and go back to it the following day.
From a variety of sources, I studied in Edinburgh so I know the city well and it was a pleasure to travel back there in my mind. The book is about a Midwife, I spent a lot of time on the labour ward myself unfortunately I had problems with my second pregnancy and I was in and out of there every day for months so I saw a lot of comings and goings that would make a great story!
